There is a selection process for the craft fairs in order to ensure that a wide variety of crafts are represented. You need to submit full details of your work, together with at least two images or your website/facebook page details where your work can be viewed. Your application will not be considered without one of these. If you do not have a website or facebook page, you can either email your images under your company name to firstname.lastname@example.org or post them to Lucy Dickinson, Script Events, 47 Church Street, Barnsley S70 2AS. As stated in the Terms & Conditions, stall holders who have attended a craft fair organised by Script Events, need not submit images again, unless they wish to display different goods. By signing this Application form you confirm to hold sufficient public liability insurance at the time of the event. HANDMADE GOODS ONLY
The cost for a one-day fair is £30 for a 6ft stall and £50 for a 12ft stall. The cost for a two-day fair is £60 for a 6ft stall and £100 for a 12ft stall. There will be no extra charge for doubling the depth of your stall. Payment can be made by cheque or debit/credit card, and will be requested one month prior to each fair.
To apply for a stall, please post or email your application form, together with images of the goods you wish to display or details of your website/facebook page if appropriate. You will not be allowed to display any goods not listed on your application form, and they must be a true representation of the descriptions provided as well as hand crafted.
Please note that if you have attended a Script Events craft fair before, you do not need to resubmit images unless you wish to display different goods.

You are expected to ensure that your trading area is clean and tidy at all times. No goods must encroach into the public walkways, onto or block another stand. Traders must display their company name and additional information such as your returns policy and all goods must be clearly labelled and priced. You are responsible for clearing away your own litter at the end of each day’s trading and returning any items that you may have borrowed.
All fairs are open to the public between 10am and 4pm. Access is available for set up from 7.30am on the morning of each fair.For Health and Safety reasons your stalls must be set up by 9.50am before the fair opens to the public at 10am. No stall holder must pack up prior to close of trading at 4pm, without the prior consent of the event organiser. Failure to comply could jeopardise future bookings.
Each exhibitor is expected to have their own sufficient Public Liability Insurance at the of the event. Exhibitors also indemnify the organisers and venue against claims and damages caused by themselves.
Access to electricity must be requested in advance and all electrical equipment must comply with current legislation and have a valid Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certificate.
In the event of cancellation by the organiser, any payments made will be refunded in full, but no liability is accepted for any other loss. In the event of cancellation by the stall holder, any fee paid will be credited if cancelled more than 28 days before the event, but the full fee is payable for any cancellations within 28 days of the event. Space cannot be re-let to another exhibitor without the approval of the organiser.
